Reaching the Next Generation

In 2024, the Oklahoma FFA State Convention brought thousands of young leaders together. Our goal was to extend this experience beyond the event itself—connecting digitally with FFA members and supporters and reaching new audiences, especially the younger generation. We wanted to make the convention accessible, engaging, and memorable through strategic social media coverage.

Objective.

  • Engage FFA youth where they spend time online.

  • Highlight and celebrate FFA’s mission and values.

  • Connect with supporters, parents, and alumni to expand visibility and engagement.

Approach.

We executed a multi-platform social media strategy, tailoring content for Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. Each platform received targeted content to reach different audience segments:

  1. Instagram – We focused on Reels and Stories, delivering short, engaging content that showcased convention highlights and member perspectives.

  2. Facebook – Targeting parents, educators, and alumni, we shared detailed updates on awards, keynotes, and activities.

  3. TikTok – To capture younger audiences, we produced high-energy content, highlighting student interviews and interactive sessions.

Execution.

  • Live Coverage: Real-time updates captured the convention’s energy and key moments, tagging schools and members to broaden reach.

  • Interactive Engagement: Polls, Q&As, and story features encouraged active engagement.

  • Behind-the-Scenes: Candid footage of convention prep and the day-to-day activities gave followers an insider view.

Results.
